What’s newGuides, series and easier browsing on the blog
v0.26.1Blog pieces can sit in more than one section, guides get their own layout, and pieces can run as a series.
Reading the blog
- Each section of Guides now has smaller sections inside it, each with its own page, so you can go straight to the part you came for.
- A piece can be listed in up to three sections, so you'll find it wherever you'd look for it.
- Guides are laid out to work through: your progress beside the words, the short version at the top, and numbered steps.
- Some subjects run over several pieces as a series. Each part links to the others, in order.
For writers
- Choose up to three places to file your piece, and suggest a new section if nothing fits. We'll look at it before it's used.
- Tick "This piece is a guide" and add up to four key points, or put your pieces together as a series.
- Writing for the blog is still by invitation. If you'd like to write, ask from Blog in your dashboard.
Events
- Events we bring in from listing sites can now show the organiser's own Collr page and badge.
