Search for events near a postcode, a town or where you are, without Collr keeping any of it. Events with a badge come first on their day, there is a new Trusted badge between Verified and Partner, and any event can be reported from its page.
Finding events
Near me: on the events page and your dashboard's Events screen, type a postcode or a town, or use your location, choose how far you will travel, and see what is on nearest first, with the distance on each event. What you type is looked up in Collr's own list of places, so no other company sees it, and it is forgotten when you close your browser.
Events with a Verified, Trusted or Partner badge come first on their day: on the events calendar, in the weekly email and in the Telegram round-up. A badge never moves an event ahead of an earlier day.
Any event can be reported from its page. A person reads every report, and nothing is shared with the organiser.
The event badges
Trusted is a new badge between Verified and Partner, for organisers who also agree to a published code of conduct, a way for anybody to raise a problem before the night, a named contact and telling Collr about serious incidents. Organisers can apply for it under Organising.
Every badge explains all three in a line each, and says plainly that no organiser pays Collr for any of them. The page on what the badges mean is in the footer as Event badges.
An event page can ask to be marked Official, with proof that it is run by the people behind the event.
Smaller things
The contact form asks what your message is about, so it reaches the right person sooner.
On a phone, the More screen lists your notifications and shows the same counts as the sidebar.
