What’s new

A new dashboard, a simpler page builder and better events

v0.5.2

Our biggest update yet. Every screen in your dashboard has been rebuilt to be clearer and to work properly on a phone, your page is now built in one place and saves as you go, and events are easier to browse, plan and follow.

Your dashboard

  • Home shows what to do next and how your page is doing: a setup checklist, suggestions based on your account, and your views and clicks compared with the previous 30 days, with your real page beside it.
  • Pin the screens you use most to the top of the menu. Pins are saved to your account, so they follow you to your phone. The menu can also shrink to icons.
  • On a phone, the dashboard has a tab bar along the bottom, with everything else under More.
  • The setup checklist can be put away once it's done, and optional steps can be skipped.
  • Notifications: support replies, announcements and changes to your account now show up here, with an unread count in the menu.
  • What's new: this page. You'll get a notification when there's something new — you can turn that off below.

Your page

  • Links & profile is now Your page: everything on your page in one list, edited right beside it. There's no save button — changes save as you make them.
  • Paste any link and we work out what it is: a link, a shop, a way to support you, or a video, track or post to show on your page. If we guess wrong, change it in one tap.
  • Add a header, some text or a spacer in one tap. New headers and text stay hidden until you've written something, so nothing half-finished shows up.
  • Your photo, name, bio and social icons are edited the same way, as the first block on your page. Hide, move or delete anything from its menu, or drag it into place.
  • Every link shows how many clicks it had in the last 30 days, and Premium members can upload their own icon for a link.
  • Design is one editor. Theme, wallpaper, buttons, text, colours and footer are all in one place, with your page previewed as you go. Nothing changes publicly until you save.
  • The design editor tells you if your text or buttons will be hard to read, and offers a one-tap fix. It's only advice.
  • Flag a single link as 18+ without putting a warning on your whole profile. Visitors see a short warning before it opens.
  • Premium members have eleven new link button styles and optional motion on highlighted links. Motion is always off for visitors who've asked their device for less of it.
  • Premium+ members can choose the title, description and image shown when their page is shared in apps and messengers.
  • A QR code for your page. Premium+ members can pick its colours, add their photo or logo, and print business cards.
  • Badges on profiles show their proper name, icon and colour, and can be tapped to see what they mean.
  • Custom domains are live: point a domain you own at your page.

Events

  • Browse upcoming events by category, country or search, as a list or on a map. Every event has its own page to share.
  • Event cards are easier to read at a glance: the name sits on the poster, and the time, place, price and headcount sit underneath. Events without a poster get a proper card of their own.
  • The next event you said you're going to sits at the top of Events. Filter by organiser as well as category and date, and sort by soonest or most going.
  • Festivals have a programme: pick a day to see what's on, in time order, and say you're going to each event, or add the lot to your calendar in one go. Each event in a festival links back to it and to what's on either side of it that day.
  • The calendar is easier to read and tap, shows your plans as icons with a key to explain them, and has a + on each day to add an event.
  • My events shows your next event up front and the rest in a list, with clear Not going and Remove buttons. Past events fold away.
  • Mark an event Interested as well as Going, and see which of your connections are going — on the event, and marked in who's going.
  • A weekly “what’s on” email every Thursday, if you want it. Choose the kinds of events it covers in Account & settings.
  • Organisers can claim their event pages and build an event team who can edit and add events with them.
  • Adding an event is split into clear sections, and the 18+ setting explains what it does.
  • Festival is a new event category, for prides, weekenders and anything with a programme of its own.
  • More events show the right start time and entry price, and Leather and Rubber stay on an event when you save it.

Analytics

  • The date range and the day-by-day chart are free for everyone. Your numbers about your own page are yours.
  • Premium+ adds where your visitors come from, which devices they use, clicks per link, and a CSV download.
  • Your own visits to your page no longer count towards your views.

Groups, connections and support

  • Groups & packs are one place in the menu. Invitations waiting for you come first.
  • Connection requests waiting for you come first, and a sent request's status is written out.
  • You can close your own support ticket when it's sorted, and reply emails include our answer. Answered tickets with no reply for a week close on their own.

Account and privacy

  • Account & settings is one screen, and you can resend your verification email from it. The content warning before your whole page is set there too.
  • Choose which non-essential emails you get. Verification, password and account notices always send.
  • Changing your password signs you out everywhere else.
  • Deleting your account really deletes it. You have 30 days to change your mind, with reminders, and then your links, connections, memberships and uploads are removed.
  • Signing in takes you back to the page you were on, and every email we send can be replied to.
  • Security improvements across the site.
