Anyone can now correct a wrong time or a dead link on an event, verified members can vouch for people they know, badges arrive on their own, and organisers can add the link where their tickets are actually sold.
Events
If something on an event is wrong, say so. Open the event and suggest a correction: the time, the venue, or a link that's dead. Most events here come from public listings and listings go stale, so a fix helps everyone who looks it up next. It goes to the organiser first, and to us if they don't answer — and you hear back either way, with a reason if it isn't used.
Organisers answer corrections on their own event page, and can add the link where their tickets are actually sold — their own site, or whichever box office they use. That link becomes the Get tickets button.
Events can be pulled in from a TicketSource box office, so an organiser who sells there gets every date, the right venue and a working ticket link without typing anything.
Vouching
Any verified member can now vouch for anyone they know, from that person's page or from your connections. It used to be limited to handlers and alphas, which made a trust question into a hierarchy.
A vouch goes to Collr staff, who decide — it doesn't verify anyone by itself, however many people speak for someone. Nobody is told who vouched for them, or that anyone did, and there's no way to ask for one, so nobody has to say no.
Badges
Badges you've earned now arrive on their own: Organiser if you host an event here, Partner, Pack founder, and Anniversary at one, three and five years. They're checked hourly, and one that stops being true comes off with a note saying why.
Corrections count. Three accepted corrections earn Contributor, the same badge as the people who send code — keeping the listings right is the same work.
The badge for people who were here early is now called Tester, so it stops clashing with a pack rank, and the first six members hold Founder.
