A bug in yesterday's release put the dropdowns on Your page back to “Rather not say” as soon as you saved, and saving again wrote that down over what you had picked. That is fixed, and if it caught you, setting them once more will now stick. Signing up also asks the three short questions from the about page, so a new page has something on it from the first day.

Saving Your page no longer answers questions with a shrug you never chose. The community and role you lead with, your pronouns and how long you’ve been in the scene all dropped back to “Rather not say” the moment you pressed Save — and saving a second time then wrote that answer down, undoing what you had picked a minute earlier. If your page lost an answer this way, set it again and it will stay set.

Sign-up now asks your pronouns, the town you’re based in and how long you’ve been in the scene — the same three short questions the about page carries, all still optional. They were only reachable from the about editor before, so anyone who never went looking had a page that could not say any of it.
